Preparing school courses and workbooks
A useful workbook starts with a clear final version of the teaching material. Check not only the content but also readability, page order and the number of copies. The existing PrintPlaats school service supports checks, printing, finishing and delivery. Good preparation makes your request easier to assess.
Check readability on paper
Check text size, contrast and the space where pupils write. A colour code or chart that is clear on screen may be harder to understand in black and white. Decide which pages need colour. Keep important content away from edges and allow suitable inner space where the chosen finishing requires it. Follow the school service requirements for the final print options.
Make page order and version clear
Open the final PDF and check the title page, chapters, exercises and any answers. Use recognisable filenames for each workbook or subject. With double-sided printing, deliberately added blank pages can affect where a new chapter starts. Check whether they are needed and mention special requirements. Keep old versions out of the request to avoid uncertainty about which file to print.
Choose quantities and print options
Record the number of copies for each workbook and the print options that suit classroom use. State whether you want single- or double-sided printing and any colour or finishing needs. Use the options actually available through the school service. Ask for advice about unusual combinations first; a request written in your document is not yet a confirmed production option.
Coordinate with the school schedule
The school service uses a personal account linked to the correct school. Coordinate practical arrangements within the school and state when the material is needed. Communicate changes clearly, identifying the relevant filename and version. Discuss urgent or unusual requests directly with Manu-Mail. Check the confirmed arrangements before relying on delivery in your lesson schedule.
