Sustainable and socially responsible business

Print and direct mail remain tangible communication. We therefore take a considered approach to paper, energy, transport, people and social impact.

Responsible print

Manu-Mail works with paper, print, address files and shipments every day. Wherever possible, we choose responsible materials, efficient production and correct handling of shipments.

We combine digital automation with human checks to avoid unnecessary errors, waste and reprints.

FSC®-papier

Where possible, we use FSC®-certified paper. This label indicates controlled sourcing from responsibly managed forests and/or recycled sources.

When a customer deliberately chooses another paper, we follow the requested specifications.

CO₂-conscious shipping

For large addressed mailings, we work with professional postal and distribution partners. bpost has introduced CO₂ compensation initiatives for certain MassPost volumes.

This allows large direct-mail volumes to be handled more efficiently and consciously.

Zonnepanelen

Manu-Mail uses solar panels to cover part of its internal energy consumption, making daily operations more energy efficient step by step.

Efficiency reduces waste

Good preparation reduces errors. We therefore focus on PDF and address checks, clear quantities and correct production planning.

Fewer errors mean less waste, fewer reprints and less unnecessary transport.

Social engagement

Manu-Mail has a long-standing interest in social projects and local initiatives, including support for social projects, sports initiatives and local associations.

Personal follow-up

PrintPlaats.be is digital but not impersonal. Requests are followed up by people who understand print, direct mail, data and shipping.

For companies with sustainability goals

Does your company have internal sustainability goals or reporting? We can advise on paper choice, quantity, personalisation, mailing selections, waste reduction and efficient shipping.

A well-targeted, correctly personalised and efficiently produced mailing can often be more sustainable than large volumes of untargeted print.
